.. I am sorry for your loss and the loss to the NMR and scientific communities. I met Mark several times over the years at ENCs and always enjoyed his sense of humor and of course his deep insights into NMR. When I was a postdoc, I spent time with Art Palmer and anytime a difficult NMR question was posed, Art would say that I need to talk to Mark about that! Over the years, I have benefitted from Mark's insightful comments. The fact he was also so humble and thoughtful has served as a great role model for us all. He will be deeply missed.
